Jose Santos,’ at Gulfstream Park

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Retired jockey Jose Santos, who
launched his Hall of Fame career in South Florida, will launch his just-released
biography, ‘Above It All: The Turbulent Life of Jose Santos,’ at Gulfstream Park
March 12.

Santos will sign copies of his
book between 8-10 a.m., during ‘Breakfast At Gulfstream,’ and again between 11
a.m. and 4 p.m. in the breezeway.

‘Above It All,’ written by Bill
Heller, is being sold exclusively online at JoseSantosBook.com. Santos retired
in 2007 because of complications from a spill at Aqueduct. Santos was a leading
rider for many years in New York and Florida. He’s best known for a seven-month
stretch in 2002-03 when he won the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) with the longshot
Volponi and two-thirds of the Triple Crown with Funny Cide.
