Bernie Dickman, April Fools

A moron with
internet access and a blog as recently as April 1, which happens to be April
fools day, how appropriate, wrote this stuff, and I quote, “Gulfstream Park, in
seeking to increase its handle this year, instituted a 10-cent Pick 6 in which
the only way the jackpot carryover would be given out would be if a single
person hit the six winners. It has been a complete
Then todays propaganda blog , April
11th, he writes about Tampa’s poor handle on Saturday and writes this confusing
statement in part that says:
Despite full parking lots, an on-track crowd of
6,063 and an excellent race program, Tampa didn’t fare as well at the mutuel
windows as might have been expected,
but still wound up with an
all-sources handle of $5,628,547.
That mediocre number can be wholly attributed to the tough competition stemming
from Uncle Mo at the Wood Memorial, the Illinois Derby, the Oaklawn Handicap,
Gulfstream Park’s upwards of $1 million carryover in the
Pick 6,
and Blah, Blah, Blah.

So which is it? Is it a complete bust
as you say on April 1st, or a success as implied on April 11th? What will next
weeks propaganda show? Talk about an April Fool? HMMM…
